What this site is for
The treatment pages are written to help you understand a diagnosis and the options for it well enough to have a useful conversation with a clinician. They are general medical information. They are not a diagnosis, not a treatment recommendation for you specifically, and not a substitute for an examination.
Reading this site and submitting the case review form does not create a doctor–patient relationship. That relationship begins when you are formally accepted for consultation and assessment.
Why your case may not match the page
Surgical outcomes depend on variables a website cannot see: the state of your erectile tissue, the extent of any fibrosis, your vascular and glycaemic status, previous operations, medication, smoking, and your own expectations. Two men with the same diagnosis can be offered different operations for good reasons. Where this site describes a typical recovery, a typical result or a typical length of stay, read typical as doing real work in that sentence.
The outcome figures we quote
Satisfaction rates, infection rates, mechanical survival rates and expected length changes are drawn from the peer-reviewed prosthetic urology and andrology literature and from our own practice. They are ranges reported across published series, not a promise about your result, and they shift with case selection: a first implant in a healthy man and a revision in scarred corpora do not carry the same numbers.
Where the honest answer to a question is unflattering — that lengthening surgery delivers less than most men hope, that implantation shortens the erect penis slightly, that fat transfer for girth is unpredictable enough that we do not offer it — the pages say so. We would rather lose an enquiry than gain a disappointed patient.
How these pages are written and reviewed
- Clinical content is drafted against current EAU and ISSM guidance and the primary literature.
- Every page is reviewed by a consultant urologist on the surgical team before publication.
- Pages are reviewed at least annually, and sooner when guidance or device technology changes.
- Device brands are named factually. We have no commercial relationship that determines which device we recommend; selection is clinical.
Advertising standards and what you will not find here
Turkish health advertising regulations prohibit healthcare providers from publishing patient testimonials, before-and-after imagery, comparative claims of superiority and promotional pricing. We comply with them. That is why this site carries no patient photographs, no success stories, no “best clinic” claims and no fixed price list, and why quotations are issued after an assessment rather than advertised before one.
Indicative ranges shown on the costs page are provided for planning purposes and do not constitute an offer or a binding price.
External links and third parties
Where we link to a guideline body, manufacturer or hospital, we do not control that content and are not responsible for it. Partner hospitals hold their own accreditations and their own clinical governance, which we assess but do not administer.
Jurisdiction
Santa Urology Andrology Clinic operates under the licensing and clinical governance framework of the Republic of Türkiye. Regulatory approval status for devices and medicinal products differs between countries; a product used lawfully here may be approved, restricted or unapproved where you live. Ask us if this matters for your case.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any action taken solely on the basis of general information published on this site. Decisions about your treatment should be made with a clinician who has assessed you.
Placeholder notice. The clinic’s Ministry of Health facility authorisation number, health tourism authorisation certificate number, registered company details and the named clinician responsible for editorial review must be substituted here and in the site configuration before this site goes live. Questions in the meantime can be sent to consult@santaurology.com.
