Views from the clinic. Every photograph below was taken inside Santa Urology itself — the entrance, the waiting lounge, the consulting room and the examination and treatment bays. Nothing here is a stock photograph, and nothing here is a hospital: this is an outpatient andrology clinic, and it is where everything except your operation happens.
Men travelling for this operation are asked to take a good deal on trust, usually from a website. Publishing the rooms is the cheapest honest thing a clinic can do about that, so here they are, unstaged and unstyled: one clinic floor in Beşiktaş, with a waiting lounge, a consulting room, examination and treatment bays, and the corridor that joins them.
What you will not see is an operating theatre, because we do not have one and would not want one. Santa Urology is a clinic rather than a hospital, and prosthetic surgery occasionally needs a building rather than a room — intensive care two floors away, interventional radiology, a blood bank, microbiology in-house. So consultations, examination, Doppler ultrasonography, dressing changes and twelve months of follow-up happen here, and operations happen in accredited private hospitals across the city where we hold theatre time and admitting rights.

Ground floor
Arrival and the waiting lounge
The clinic occupies a single floor in Beşiktaş, on the European side of the city. Consultations run to appointment rather than to a queue, so the lounge is quiet by design: men arriving for an andrology appointment are usually not keen to sit in a crowded waiting room, and the day is scheduled to avoid it.

The consulting room
Consultations happen in a closed room with the door shut, across a desk rather than over a trolley. The surgeon who sees you here is the surgeon who operates: the video consultation before you travel, the assessment on arrival and the follow-up afterwards are all with the same clinician. Both photographs below are of the same room, from either end.

Examination and diagnostics
Physical examination, penile Doppler ultrasonography, dressing changes and the whole of your post-operative follow-up happen in these rooms. What does not happen here is surgery. Implants, Peyronie’s correction and every other procedure requiring an anaesthetist are performed in accredited private hospitals elsewhere in Istanbul, where we hold theatre time and admitting rights.
One field, one floor
A clinic that does one thing, in a building sized for it
The sign in the reception hall is the whole proposition. There is no hair transplant desk down the corridor and no dental chair on the floor above, because a centre that offers everything is organised around selling procedures, and a centre that offers one thing is organised around doing it well.
Photographs are of the clinic as it is on an ordinary working day. We publish no testimonials, no patient photography and no before-and-after imagery of any kind, so the rooms are the only thing there is to show — which is rather the point.
